Enrique Llanos. Mitú, Vaupés. 2018

Enrique Llanos, sabedor of the Cubeo people tells his history at his adoptive village in Mitú, Vaupes, over a displacement informal settlement, with in the context of the Colombian history of human rights abuse and internal conflict.

The story is part of a collective research exploring the legacies of the Cold War in Latin America and was exhibited for the first time at Centro de la Imagen, in Mexico City on 25.10.18, the project includes photography, fieldwork, interviews and archival intervention carried out between Zahara Gómez (Spain / Argentina, 1983), Juan Orrantia (Colombia, 1975) and Mauricio Palos (Mexico, 1981) in Argentina, Guatemala, Colombia and Mexico between 2017 and 2018.
